We have planted over 12,000 native trees at Lyndale Park, and most are now reaching maturity. The five large dams have encouraged native birds back to the area in ever-increasing numbers. We are working with our neighbouring farmers, to plant more trees to create green corridors which assist native wildlife to safely move between local habitat areas.
Kangaroos abound, there have also been platypus sightings along Sunday Creek. Of course there are yabbies in the dams and fish in the creek. Walking tracks have been established along the banks of Sunday Creek, and there is a rustic picnic and barbecue area hidden away in a peaceful, natural environment.
All this environmental planning led to Lyndale Park winning the prestigious Landcare Business State Award.

Tree planting
Tree planting at Lyndale Park is a key initiative focused on enhancing the environment and promoting biodiversity across the farm. Through ongoing planting projects, residents actively contribute to the creation of wildlife corridors, which connect different areas of the property and support the local ecosystem. These corridors not only provide habitats for native flora and fauna but also help to prevent soil erosion and improve water quality.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of Lyndale Park’s farming practices, ensuring the land remains healthy and productive for future generations. The farm focuses on environmentally conscious techniques such as pasture management, soil health preservation, and effective water use to support both agricultural activities and biodiversity.
Nature walks
Lyndale Park boasts an extensive network of walking trails that wind through the farm's breathtaking landscape, offering residents and their guests the chance to explore the natural beauty of the area. Designed with both recreation and conservation in mind, the pathways also connect to wildlife corridors, making every walk an opportunity to appreciate Lyndale Park’s thriving flora and fauna.
Backyard picnics
Lyndale Park offers an expansive farm setting where residents can enjoy peaceful picnics in picturesque, secluded spots without ever leaving the property. With rolling hills, tranquil dams, and the scenic Sunday Creek running through the land, the farm provides an ideal backdrop for relaxation and connection with nature.
