While Lyndale Park does not own commercial flocks or herds of animals we often have cattle on our land. Typically these are herds of Murray Grey and Speckled Park owned by nearby farmers. In addition, we have our own pigs, alpacas, ponies, donkeys, deer, camels, in addition to owners' horses. Hay and silage is also cut on the property.

Our manager Chris Doyle lives on Lyndale. Chris is an experienced farmer with a university degree in agriculture. Members can choose whether or not to get involved with farming activities, but many enjoy participating in shearing the alpacas, fencing, tree planting, our community vegetable garden and other projects and working bees.
